Country Kids 4H Club Secretary Notes

Date:  5/19/2019               Place:  Brunke's

The meeting was called to order by Madey Brunke

Our American and 4H Pledges were led by Lane Bennett

The thought for the day was your favorite community service project announced by Landon Schill

We sang a song named happy birthday, led by Teen leaders

Roll call was read and we had 14 members present, 2 tag-alongs present, 8 parents present, and 0 visitors present.

Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved by Gabe Brunke & seconded by Beccs Brunke.  Corrections include none.

Our treasurer reports $$771.03 in our account.

Committee Reports:

Community service: there were none.

4-H Project reports or awards presented:

4-H days awards were given out.  Fair projects shown were Gabe showed is V8 engine, John showed his dog Willie, Landon showed his bird house and Katie showed her sweatshirt.

Business:

Avery is going to go to Washington D.C. for Washington focus in June and Atlanta for 4-H congress in November.  Katie and Avery will get information for when we hand out water bottles at the memorial day service.  The mattress fundraiser is scheduled for June 2^nd and remember to sign up for 4-H camp which is in June also

Motion:  to clean up the back garden in the library.  The motion carried. No date was set.

The project of our meeting was cleaning up road ditches and was presented by the club. 

Our next meeting will be held on an undetermined date at the Choose an item. house.

Beccs Brunke. moved that the meeting be adjourned.  Ali Brunke. seconded the motion.

We played a game called NO GAME! led by Teen Leaders.
