September meeting minutes

Secretary Notes For Country Kids 4-H Club

Date: 9-25-16      Place :Bock’s

The meeting was called to order by Katie.

Our American and 4-H pledges were led by Avery

The thought for the day is favorite dessert announced by Carlie.

Roll call was read and we had 16 members present,

8 parents were present, 1 visitor was present.

Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved by Aiden & seconded by Ellie.

Our Treasurer reports $267.20 in our account.  

Committee Reports:

Window display and carnival committees give a quick report. Contact has been made with Mize’s for display of 4-H poster.  Carnival and poster work will be our project for today.

4-H project reports or awards presented

Congratulations to the State Fair participants this year, Carlie, Katie, and Avery.

Business:

Elections were held for the officers of the 2016-2017 4-H Year.

President - Ellie

Vice President - Aiden

Secretary - Katie

Treasurer - Carlie

Officer at Large- Amelie

Song Leader - Ashlynn & Carlie

Game Leaders - McKenna & Adam

Nut sales discussion was let by Dirk with a discussion about 4-H Advisory board and how they help 4-H.

There was a motion made by Avery to hold the next meeting on October 16 at 1pm and do a service project.

The project of our meeting was prepare for Carnival and display and was presented by all members.

Our next meeting will be held on October 16  at  Schill’s with service project.

Avery moved that the meeting be adjourned.

Ashlynn seconded the motion.
