Secretary Notes For Country Kids 4-H Club


Date:  3-11-18      Place :Schills - Hosted by Fischers


We played a game called simon says led by Zane and Kayle.


The meeting was called to order by Carlie.


Our American and 4-H pledges were led by Adam & Carlie


The thought for the day is 4-H project you are working on or starting announced by Carlie.


Roll call was read and we had 16 members present & 8 parents were present


Minutes of the last meeting were read and amended by Avery.  They were approved by Zane &
seconded by Amelie. Corrections included the song was Little Red Wagon.


Our Treasurer reports $668.43 in our account.  


Committee Reports:
Amelie thanked the group for making toys for humane society and noted the meeting will be held
after the tour and donation on April 15 at 2pm.
Avery reminded the group of upcoming service opportunity at the April 29th meeting.  We will be
making May Day baskets and scrapbooking. Any member available on May 1st is invited to deliver
baskets after school. motion was made by Marlis to help with the Clearwater Sign, seconded by
Lane. Discussion was held and vote passed.  Amelie will get in contact with the city person to
get further information. A sign committee was created with Lane, Katie, Carlie, McKenna, Landon,
Adam, Amelie, Marlis, Zane, Kayle.
Katie reminded the group of the Food Bank Service project on March 19th 1:30-3pm.  She will be
sending an email for RSVP. Minimum age of 5 and maximum group number of 25.

4-H project reports or awards presented:
Carlie showed progress on cross stitching project and Avery showed her quilt.


Business:
Mattress sale at Extension office April 8th.  Please spread word to anyone who may be interested.
Birthday Committee to meet after meeting.


The project of our meeting was chicken information presented by Kayle and rabbit showmanship
presented by Marlis.


Our next meeting will be held on April 15th at the Humane Society main campus.

The following meeting will be April 29, scheduled for the Clearwater Community Center.

The meeting was called to order by  Carlie Schill

Our American and 4-H pledges were led by Marlis Fisher

The thought for the day is What your favorite part of christmas is? announced by   Mckenna Bock.

We sang a song named    Down by the Banks, led by Ellie Bock.

Roll call was read and we had 14 members present, 2 tag-alongs present 6 parents were present, 0 visitors were present.

Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved by Mckenna Bock & seconded by Zane Fisher. Corrections included 0.

Our Treasurer reports $538.43 in our account.

2016 Awards Banquet - Nov 22, 2016

The Country Kids did a great job this year, and got quite a few awards at the banquet.  We received $100 for our community service award, and again completed 100% of our record books.  We got a $25 gift certificate to the 4-H mall.  We also had several members who received individual awards.

Secretary Notes For Country Kids 4-H Club

Date:  13 November 2016  Place: Bennetts

The meeting was called to order by: Ellie

Our American and 4-H pledges were led by: Adam

The thought for the day was:  your favorite winter activity            Announced by: Eliana

Our song leaders lead us in Down by the banks to start the meeting.

Roll call was read and we had  14 members present, 5 parents present and 0 visitors present.

The minutes of our last 4-H club meeting were read and approved by Marlis and seconded by McKenna.

Our treasurer reports $344.85 in our account.  Everyone also need to turn in their dues!!!

Committee Reports:
For 48 hours of 4-H we worked for 68 hours!!!  Carlie moved that we adopt 3 kids, the motion carried, Katie moved that we do $20 per kid.  A vote was taken, we are going shopping for 3 kids this year, and we are going to spend $20 per kid.
Awards: Avery, Carlie and Katie received red ribbons from state fair.  We received a blue ribbon on our window display, and we received a thank-you card from people on 79th for cleaning up the road ditches.  

Business: Carlie reminded everyone that she will be counting all motions made.  There was also a banquet reminder for anyone who wanted to go.  The December meeting was change to Saturday the 10th, because it is a Christmas party.

Project reports: Marlis got rabbits and finished an arts and crafts poster.  
The project of our meeting was Sign Language presented by Colter and Katie Bennett, and scrapbooking, presented by the club.

Our next meeting will be on 10 December 2016 at the Bock’s house

The project of our next meeting is crafts, presented by The Bock’s.  

Ashlynn moved that the meeting be adjourned.
Amelie seconded the motion.
