Meeting Minutes Feb 18, 2018

Secretary Notes for Country Kids 4-H Club
Date: 2/18/18 Place : The Bock's
The meeting was called to order by Carlie Schill
Our American and 4-H pledges were led by Adam Bennet
The thought for the day is favorite Olympic Event announced by Ellie Bock.
We sang a song named Little Red Riding Hood, led by Ellie Bock .
Roll call was read and we had 13 members present, 0 tag-alongs present 5 parents were present, 0 visitors were present.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved by McKenna Bock & seconded by Macy Ferley. Corrections included 0.
Our Treasurer reports $668.43 in our account.
Committee Reports: Birthday committee handed out brownies to Isiac, Landon, Mady, and Rebecca.
4-H project reports or awards presented Colter-purple ( reading ) Adam -blue ( piano ) Katie -blue ( piano ),purple (reserve grand champion ) dem. Avery-purple ( reserve champion ) dem. club-blue ( mock meeting ) Carlie-purple dem. and Ellie recieved $ 3.50 from the state fair ( pictures and cookies )
New Business:
Motion: The Club's making May day baskets on April 29th @ the Community Center @ 3:00 and will be delivered after school. Please attend if able. Made by: Amelie Ferley 2nd by Avery Schill
Motion: Humane Society Tour April 15, 2 pm everyone is invited to attend. Club Meeting will be held following.

The project of our meeting was Dog toys and was presented by the Ferleys.
Our next meeting will be held on 3/11/18 at the Fisher's if weather permits or at the Schill's .
Mckenna Bock moved that the meeting be adjourned. Lane Bennet seconded the motion.
Meeting was adjourned and the club played freeze tag and snacks were provided by the Bock's and the Ferleys.




4-H Day Feb 10, 2018


Our club presented a model meeting at 4-H days for the first time this year.  We had fun and learned some things about running a meeting.  We forgot to bring our flags and gavel, but we improvised and got a blue ribbon.

The meeting was called to order by Carlie Schill._
Our American and 4-H pledges were led by Adam Bennet
The thought for the day is 4-H Project announced by Carlie Schill.
We sang a song named Reece's Peanut Butter Cup, led by Ellie Bock.
Roll call was read and we had 20 members present, 3 tag-alongs present 8 parents were present, 4 visitors were present.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved by Mckenna Bock & seconded by Zane Fisher. Corrections included 0.
Our Treasurer reports $618.43 in our account.

We played a game called Bingo and Balloon Volleyball led by The 4-H Club.

The meeting was called to order by  Carlie Schill

Our American and 4-H pledges were led by Marlis Fisher

The thought for the day is What your favorite part of christmas is? announced by   Mckenna Bock.

We sang a song named    Down by the Banks, led by Ellie Bock.

Roll call was read and we had 14 members present, 2 tag-alongs present 6 parents were present, 0 visitors were present.

Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved by Mckenna Bock & seconded by Zane Fisher. Corrections included 0.

Our Treasurer reports $538.43 in our account.

Meeting was adjourned and the club had a Taco Dinner.

The meeting was called to order by Ellie Bock-Carlie Schill
Our American and 4-H pledges were led by Adam Bennet
The thought for the day is what you are thankful for announced by Madey Brunke.
We sang a song named Down by the Banks, led by Ellie Bock.
Roll call was read and we had 17 members present, 2 tag-alongs present 7 parents were present, 1 visitors were present.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved by Amelie Ferley & seconded by Mckenna Bock. Corrections included 0.
Our Treasurer reports $631.05 in our account.
Committee Reports: Dog treats and a visit to the senior center was discussed
4-H project reports or awards presented: Banquet awards
No new Business was discussed.
The project of our meeting was Leadership games and a Bonfire presented by Carlie Schill.
Our next meeting will be held on 12/3/17 at The Bock's house.
Mckenna Bock moved that the meeting be adjourned.
Lane Bennet seconded the motion.
Meeting was adjourned and the 4-H Club Members roasted marshmallows and made s’mores.

Sedgwick County 4-H Carnival-Oct 8, 2017

 For the 4-H Carnival this year, we had two games, the Boot Ring Toss and the Duck Pond.  We had a lot of fun.
