Fall Clearwater Sign clean up Oct 10, 2015

For 48 hours of 4-H, our club decided to do some fall maintenance at the city of Clearwater sign.  We pulled weeds, trimmed hedges and bushes, and planted some mums.  There were 9 members, 2 tag alongs, and 4 leaders present.

September 18, 2015 Country Kids 4-H Club Meeting Minutes/ Fall Fest

Secretary Notes for Country Kids 4-H Club

Place: Schill’s House
The meeting was called to order by Katie.
Our American and 4-H pledges were led by Katie.
The thought for the day was “What will you be on the parade float?” announced by Katie.
Roll call was read and we had 15 members present, 4 tag-alongs present, 10 parents present, and 0 visitors present.
Committee reports - Thank you to everyone who came to decorate the Fall Fest Parade float.  The 4H Carnival will be on October 11th. 
Birthdays were presented.
Business: We will be electing officer’s in the October meeting.
The project of our meeting was decorating the float for the Fall Fest Parade and was presented by everyone.
Our next meeting will be held on October 4th at the Schill’s.
Carlie moved that the meeting be adjourned.
Alex seconded the motion. 

We participated in the Clearwater fall feast by decorating a float in the parade.  We won 1st place in the competition.  The parade motto was " Remembering the Past, Embracing the Future", so we put a old-fashioned windmill on the front and a wind turbine on the back.







August 23, 2015 Country Kids 4-H meeting

There was no song this meeting.
Roll call was read and we had 11 parents, 3 tag-alongs, and 15 members.
The minutes of our last 4-H Club meeting was read by Katie, Approved by Ellie, and seconded by Ashlynn.
Our substitute treasurer, Avery, reports $473.85 in our account.

County Fair July 2015

Our club entered many projects in the fair.  Some of the members helped with judging, building watch, and set-up/tear-down. There were many ribbons won and project ideas for next year.

The thought for the day is what is your favorite animal announced by Carlie.
We sang a song named Dropped my Dolly in the Dirt by Carlie .
Roll call was read and we had 13 members present, 3 tag-alongs present, 8 parents were present, 2 visitors were present.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved by Carlie & seconded by Ashlynn.
There was no treasurers report because our treasurer was not present.

    Business:
County fair is the week of July 8th- 11th .

March 22, 2015 4-H Meeting Minutes

Place: Bennett’s House
The meeting was called to order by Avery.
Our American and 4-H pledges were led by Avery and Abby.
The thought for the day was “What you did over spring break?” announced by Carlie.
We sang a song named “If Your Happy and You Know It”, led by Carlie.
Roll call was read and we had 16 members present, 4 tag-alongs present, 7 parents present, and 0 visitors present.
Our Treasurer, Caleb, reports $428.38 in our account.
Minutes from the last meeting were read and approved by Carlie and seconded by Ashlynn.
Birthdays and 4H day awards were presented.
Carlie showed her Lap Quilt.
Business: We took a vote to get together with the Peck Ramblers to do a service project. We also took a vote to get a 4H pledge banner to bring to every meeting.
The project of our meeting was Chickens and Chick Care and was presented by the Bennett’s.
Our next meeting will be held on April 12 at the Ferley’s.
 Carlie moved that the meeting be adjourned. Landon seconded the motion. 
We played a game called Hide and Seek led by Ashlynn.
 



February 7, 2015 4-H Meeting Minutes

 Place:  Central Community Church
The meeting was called to order by Carlie. Our American and 4-H pledges were led by Carlie and Amelie.
The thought for the day was “What did you at 4-H days” announced by Katie.
We sang a song named Mary had a Little Lamb, led by Carlie.

Roll call was read and we had 9 members present, 3 tag-alongs present, 7 parents present and 0 visitors present.
Our substitute Treasurer, Katie, reports $383.38 in our account.
Minutes from the last meeting were read and approved by Ellie and seconded by Landon.  Corrections included that 4-H days was no at the 4-H building, but the Central Community Church and the treasurers report was $428.38 not $382.38.   
Committee Reports: Carlie, Ashlynn, and Amelie are on a committee to help Shane communicate with the Peck Ramblers and ask them if they want to clean the park in Clearwater.  We are thinking about going to help at the food bank again.
Business: Nate went to the Advisory Council meeting January 29th, 2015. They raised $1000.00 on nuts.
The project of our meeting was 4-H days presented by everyone.
Our next meeting will be held on March 22 at the Bennett’s house

 We sang a song named The Hokey Pokey, led by Carlie.

 Committee Reports: The committee for the $25 dollars in the 4-H mall found something to buy. Joanna and Caleb got medals for their shooting sports match, Katie presented birthdays gifts, and Avery, Abby, Katie, and Parker went to a babysitting class.
 Business: We took a vote to go to Freddy’s after 4-H day.
The project of our meeting was presentations and was presented by the Mugglin’s.
Our next meeting will be held on February 7,2015(4-H day) at the 4-H day building.

The meeting was called to order by Avery.
 Our American and 4-H pledges were led by Avery and Abby.
The thought for the day was “Your favorite Christmas song?” announced by Carlie.
We sang a song named Jingle Bells, led by Carlie.
 Roll call was read and we had 18 members present, 4 tag-alongs present, 9 parents present, and 0 visitors present.
Minutes from the last meeting were read and approved by Landon and seconded by Kaelyn. Corrections included the Treasurer’s Report.
 Committee Reports: We donated $64 to Walmart-Christmas donations. We need canned food donations for the food drive. We are going to the Food Bank December 22.
 Carlie, Lauren, and Alex did a wax museum project.
Business: People volunteered to form a committee to figure out what we are going to do with the $25 in the 4-H mall. The paperwork for the 4-H Day demonstrations will be coming soon. We earned $45 from the carnival grant and $28.77 from the 4-H carnival.l
 Our treasurer, Caleb, reports $428.62 in our account.
The project of our meeting was making ornaments and was presented by the Potters.
Our next meeting will be held on January 18, 2015, at the Schill’s house.

November 16, 2014 Meeting Minutes

We sang a song named Peanut Butter Cup, led by Carlie.
Roll call was read and we had 19 members present, 3 tag-alongs present, 11 parents present, and 2 visitors present.
Minutes from the last meeting were read and approved by Carlie and seconded by Amelie.
Avery showed us her sewing project. Birthdays were announced. Year awards were presented as well as money from the state fair.  Everyone received their books for the projects they signed up for and new members received binders. Our club also received a certificate from 4H.
Our treasurer, Caleb, reports $419.55 in our account.
The project of our meeting was photography and was presented by the Bocks.
Our next meeting will be held on December 14, 2014 at the Potter’s.
